If you wish to make a purchase from the United Oddsocks website you will be asked at various stages to provide us with information about yourself and also your financial details which are required to process payment of the goods you have ordered. We use the information you provide to enable us to process your order; giving delivery details to our couriers and processing payment through our secure banking facility.

We use 128 bit SSL encryption to ensure that all sensitive information including name, address and credit card details are safe from interception.  You will know exactly when we are using 128 bit SSL encryption by observing that during the “Checkout” process our web address is preceded by “https” to indicate that secure encryption is active. Depending on your web browser a small yellow padlock symbol may be displayed to indicate that the secure connection is active. You can click on the padlock to view details of our secure certificate.

United Oddsocks processes credit card payments in real time by SagePay, an industry approved transaction handler. As soon as payment has been taken, your card number is deleted from our system. We do retain details such as your name , address, email and contact  telephone number in order to fulfil your order and also so that we can respond efficiently to any customer service enquiries you may have.


By disclosing information to us when using the United Oddsocks website, you consent to the collection, storage and processing of this information by United Oddsocks in the manner as set out by this policy.

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your agreement. You have the right to ask for a copy of the information which we are holding on you and we will provide this for a small fee. We will delete information or correct inaccuracies at no charge as soon as you make the request.

Data will only be released to third parties (such as the police) on request where there is a legal requirement for us to do so.
